With recent world events, have you ever wondered what you could do to help?  At times, the need can seem overwhelming but you can make a difference.  There are a number of worthy organizations that provide services all over the world and one of the best ways to help is to donate.  Because it's not always easy just to whip out your checkbook or make a charge to a credit card, a great option is to join a site with a point system.  There are several companies that allow you to donate the points you earn directly to charity.  Information on four companies is provided below.  Additional links are included to connect you to volunteer opportunities and other causes.

I originally added this page to my site after seeing the devastation in South Asia during the Tsunami Disaster.  I felt so helpless and wanted to do something.  I discovered that I was a member of four sites that allow you to donate points to charity.  Now again, I see suffering from other natural disasters.  Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Stan, the South Asia Earthquake, and Hurricane Wilma are affecting so many lives and so many families.  Please check and see if you belong to any of these four sites.  If you do, consider donating your points.  If you do not, consider joining.
